Step-by-Step with Images:

1 - Cancel the Current Subscription of the Gorgias Module in Prestashop

First, you'll need to cancel the current subscription for the Gorgias module.

🛠️ Step: On your Prestashop Module dashboard, find the button that allows you to cancel the current subscription. Please click on it:

⚠️ Note: A pop-up will appear instantly to confirm the action. Please click on the red button to proceed:

Once confirmed, your subscription and payments will be canceled for the next billing cycle

🎉 Good news: You will no longer need to pay for this integration!

2 - Uninstall the Current Module

🗑️ Step: We recommend uninstalling the current module before proceeding. You can do this by selecting the “Uninstall” option from the list of modules:

💡 Tip: In the following pop-up, make sure to select the checkbox that allows the process to remove all previous information:

3 - Install or Update to the New Version of the Module

There are two ways to update or install the new version of the module:

Option 1: Install via Prestashop Marketplace

‍🔍 Step: Go to Prestashop back office: "Modules" > "Marketplace" > and search for "Gorgias". Our module will appear in the results. You can then select it and install it directly in your shop:

Option 2: Manual Installation

‍🗂️ Step: Once you have the .zip file, go to Prestashop backend: "Modules" > "Module Manager". Click on the “Upload a module” button at the top right:

📂 Step: Drag and drop the file into the pop-up area:

✅ Success: You should see a success message like this:

Click on the “Configure” button to be redirected to the setup module.

4 - Reconnect to Your Gorgias Account

🔗 Final Step: Now, you need to reconnect the module with your Gorgias account, just like you did the first time. Once done, click on the “Connect” button:

🔑 Note: This action will redirect you to the Gorgias login page for validation. After logging in, the module will be connected to your account.

5 - 🎉 Done! Your Gorgias widget will automatically update, and you’re all set!
