In this new version there is only one option to Install the Gorgias APP correctly, it's from your Prestshop Module:
If you have already installed our module on your PrestaShop site, you should have our Gorgias APP ready in your Gorgias account. To ensure it is properly configured, follow these steps:
1) Visit your Gorgias dashboard account: Log in to your Gorgias account and navigate to your dashboard.
2) Access Settings: In the dashboard, find and click on the "Settings" option.
3) Navigate to "My APPs": Look for the "My APPs" section in the Settings menu and click on it.
4) Check Installed Apps: You should find our Gorgias APP listed among your installed apps. If it's there, you've successfully integrated it with your PrestaShop site.
If you are encountering problems when syncing your Prestashop data with your Gorgias account, it may be due to the Gorgias APP not being correctly synchronized with your Prestashop module. These steps will help you resolve this issue:
- From your Gorgias control panel, go to My Apps and there select our Application:
-Upon accessing it, click on the “Disconnect APP” button:
- Once disconnected, navigate to the main menu option “APP Store” > “HTTP integration” and there select the “Manage” tab, and in the line of our application “Prestashop” click on the arrow to enter the details:
- And look for the button at the bottom right of “Delete HTTP integration” and proceed to delete it.
In this way, we can create the app again from scratch using the “Option 1” of this same document.
This is a straightforward step to be carried out from the control panel of the Prestashop module.
The steps are as follows:
- Update Prestashop Module Version: Check in the module list if there is a newer version available. If so, you will see that the configuration button has changed to an update button, in case you can not see, please download the latest version and install it again.
- Access the Latest Version: Once you have the latest version, go to the control panel.
- Review and Configure New Features: Check for new functionalities and set them up as needed. For example, in version 1.0.4, we added fields to define the order status in your store for canceled or returned orders.
- Reconnect the App: Finally, click the 'Connect' button again. This will update your app in your Gorgias control panel.
This application synchronizes order and user data between your PrestaShop store and your Gorgias account. This means when you receive a ticket from a user registered in your PrestaShop store, their data and orders will be visible on the right-hand side of your Gorgias ticket interface.
Initial Synchronization:
If it's the first time you're using your tickets with the app installed and you see that there are no synchronized data for users or orders, it's likely because no event has occurred to trigger a data update. There's an easy solution: if you perform any action on the ticket, it will launch our APP's event and bring in the data for this user and their orders. This will only occur for tickets that were open before our app was installed.
Latest Update - New Features:
In our latest update, we've added three buttons that allow you to update orders directly from your Gorgias control panel.
The buttons are:
- Cancel: This will cancel the orders in your PrestaShop store.
- Refund: This action will trigger a refund in PrestaShop (note that it is not synchronized with your bank account).
- ReStock: Similar to the above action, but it does restore the stock units in your PrestaShop storage in case the order status allow us to do it. *Due to technical reasons beyond our control, there's a possibility that while performing this action, Prestashop may not be able to restore the stock. In such cases, you'll receive a message in Gorgias similar to this on the top of the window:
